She Will Answer Your Prayers - She Answered Mine

The sanctuaire of the miraculous Sainte Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, one of our spiritual retreat pilgrimage places.

Had visited this cathedral three times already in the past, and I always get that different feeling whenever I step inside and start praying. A place for sincere and devotional prayer to the holy mother of the Holy Virgin Mary.

The main altar is simple and elegant at the same time, surrounded by Romanesque pillars.

Meticulous and detailed artworks can be seen on the ceiling above the main altar, the focus image of which is the two holy mothers and the Infant Jesus.

The other smaller altars are simple but beautiful as well, especially the Holy Family altar with the Holy Spirit above, on the east wing.

Leave a prayer at the foot of Sainte Anne's pedestal for someone you love or someone you know, especially those who need help and healing, either spiritually or physically.

Don't forget to see the alcove around and behind the main altar – especially the altar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

If you will enter the cathedral through the main entrance, you will notice that both the main pillars right after the main door are almost filled with crutches, canes and the like. Those are from devotees and pilgrims who were miraculously cured from their illnesses and injuries – by Sainte Anne, who also answered my prayers for my beloved late mother, and our prayers for a close friend. She is always there – visit and pray!

Make sure you do not miss visiting the Immaculate Conception Chapel at the lower level of the basilica, where daily masses are held. A very solemn place to pray at.

Reviewing the teachings of the Holy Bible, Sainte Anne and St. Joachim were the Holy Virgin Mary's parents.
